We are pleased to serve so many book groups! Register your book group at the Reference Desk to take advantage of our services to book groups.
- Contact the Reference Department in person, by phone or email with the name of your book group, the name of the contact person, the title and author of the book, the number of copies needed and the date of your discussion. An extended checkout period will be set. Keep in mind that recently published books and bestsellers are popular in every library and may be difficult to obtain.
Title selection, Discussion Questions and Background Information
- Our Reference Librarians are happy to help you select titles, and find resources to assist in the formulation of your discussion questions. They can also help you find background information about the work, biographical information about the author, and relevant information about the historical period.
Reads-to-go Book Club Kits
- A service of the NH Library Association, Reads-to-go kits contain 15 copies of a popular title (including 1 large print copy if available), author biography, discussion questions, and a resource list. Click here for a list of kits. Request kits through the Reference Department.
