Thank you for your patience as we work to restore access to the library’s lower level.

On November 19, a failed water heater caused significant damage, requiring closure of the entire lower level for water removal and extensive cleanup, including flooring, walls, and damaged furniture.

We’ve just received insurance approval and selected a contractor for the restoration work. Concurrently, with the support of the Friends of the Library, staff have been reviewing the Johnson Meeting Room and Children’s Room to explore potential improvements during construction.

We look forward to a refreshed and improved lower level when we reopen! Currently, the entire lower level remains closed, and the handicapped accessible restroom is unavailable.
