Thursdays at 10am

This program is designed to promote early literacy in motion. We'll pass out shaky eggs, scarves, and even break out the parachute for some fun rhymes and sing-along baby songs.

Bubbly Babies

Fridays at 10am

Miss Carla will delight your babies with bubbles, rhymes, songs and stories.

Caregivers are encouraged to participate in this active song and rhyme storytime and stay for some social time with other caregivers and babies.

Little Art Makers

Mondays |  3:30pm

Each week features a story followed by a creative art activity, giving children the freedom to explore materials, experiment with colors and textures, and engage in sensory-rich experiences.

Book Buddies

The Book Buddies Literacy Program is designed to foster a love of reading among young children through a structured, engaging, and supportive read-aloud experience. The program pairs children in grades 1 through 4 with high school student mentors, known as “Big Buddies”.  Little Buddies have the opportunity to read books of their choice, or be read to, during a 30 minute time block. Please register for this program.

Pages and Pals

Pages & Pals is a weekly drop-in program for kids who love reading, stories, and chatting about books.

Join us for a fun, friendly 30-minute meetup where we talk about books you are reading, and discover new books and authors with your friends.

Whether you’re a huge bookworm or new to chapter books and graphic novels, Pages & Pals is the perfect place to chat all things BOOKS! 

Designed for ages 6-9.

1000 Books Before Kindergarten

1000 Books Before Kindergarten (1KBBK) is an early literacy initiative that encourages families to read to their young children.

How can you break it down?

  • 1 book a day for 3 years = 1000
  • 3 books a day for one year = 1000
  • 10 books a week for two years = 1000

You can repeat books as many times as you'd like, and storytime books count too!

After registering below, visit the Children's Room to get your coloring log sheets to track books read. When you complete 500 books, come into the Children's room for a prize and the next coloring sheet log.

Reading Dragons

Reading Dragons is a reading program with playing / trading cards that kids can collect, play with, and trade from October to May. Each month that you complete your reading, you’ll earn a new pack.
