Children's Summer Reading

Level Up at your library children's summer reading 2025

LEVEL UP AT YOUR LIBRARY is the theme this summer. This program is designed for ages 3-12 (kids ages 11 & 12 may participate in the Teen Summer Reading Program but not both). Children 0-2 are encouraged to register for the 1000 Books Before Kindergarten Program.

Start Date: Monday, June 16th
End Date: Friday, August 8th

How Do You Participate? It’s EASY!

Starting Monday, June 16th you can register in the Children's Room and begin logging your hours. Stop in and pick up your summer reading materials.

Lanyard, Registration Pin & Week 1 Pin
Puzzle piece to decorate for the bulletin board

How Does It Work?

Read!

For every hour you read, you’ll get a raffle ticket to enter into one of the many prizes we’ll be raffling off. One prize will be picked each week.

Once a week, we’ll have a different pin to add to your lanyard. Collect all 8 by coming to the library once a week all summer.

The caregiver that brings you to the library will also get a raffle ticket to enter into one of the adult baskets we’ll have in the Children’s Room. The caregiver will get a ticket (one ticket, once per day per child) just for bringing you! The caregiver raffle prizes will be called on Friday, August 8th.

Kick Off

Don’t miss our Kick Off Concert with Steve Blunt & Friends!

Monday, June 16th at 6:00pm

A family concert and picnic on the Village Green (rain location is the Congregational Church). Everyone is welcome, but please register in the event we have to move the concert inside, space will be limited and we will let those registered in on a priority basis.

Children’s Raffle Prizes

We have a variety of raffle prizes for the kids to have a chance at winning. Come in, show your reading log and get your tickets. We'll call a winner each week, on Friday afternoons.
